太原科技大学成人教育学院

太原科技大学成人教育学院是太原科技大学下设的二级学院，具有优越的教学设施，现有六千平方米的教学办公楼，五千平方米的学生公寓楼。学院具有多层次、多形式的办学体系。现设有高中起点本科、专科起点本科、高中起点专科等办学层次；办学形式有全日制脱产、夜大学和函授教育，方便学员根据自己的情况对口学习。我院面向全国招生，为了方便成人学生学习，我院除本院外，还在太原市和大同、朔州、晋中、阳泉、吕梁、长治、晋城、临汾、运城等地（市）以及省（区）设有函授站和办学点，学生可就近入学。我院现有成人、高职学生6000余人。

学院成人教育自1982年开始举办，共培养夜大、函授、干部专修科、成人脱产本、专科生、大专专业证书班、岗位培训、后备干部培训、各种短训学员近8000余名，其中有不少毕业生已走上领导岗位或成为企业的业务骨干，为我国的社会主义经济建设做出了积极的贡献。学院治学严谨，注重教学质量，深受学员和用人单位的好评。2002年山西省教育厅组织专家对全省函授教育辅导站进行质量评估，我院名列前茅，校本部、晋城科协、临汾二轻会校函授站被评为优秀函授站。近年来，我院为主动适应社会和经济发展的需要，积极慎重地调整了成人教育的专业和办学形式，进一步明确了各专业的培养目标，修订了教学计划，完善了各项规章制度，理顺了管理体制，并以全校师资力量为依托建立了一支对成人教育有丰富经验的教授、副教授为主体的成人教育师资队伍，还成立了成人高等教育教学指导委员会，有力的保证了成人教育质量。
